NANI is seeking a professional, reliable, patient-focused, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to get their start as a Medical Assistant or administrative professional.

As a Medical Assistant, you will work to provide outstanding care for our patients with kindness and empathy in a collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of our medical office and to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Maintains examination area. Prepares and cleans treatment rooms and medical instruments.
- Interviews patients and documents basic medical history.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and data collection, including vital signs.
- Assists during medical examinations
- Monitors and communicates patient complaints or changes in patient condition, especially those that are life-threatening or with abnormal vital signs.
- Provides patient education as directed by a physician regarding treatment, special diets, medication, follow-up diagnostic tests and healthy lifestyle information.
- Assist with pharmacy refills and patient callbacks.
- Documents all patient care provided.
- May perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, insurance verification, faxes, patient correspondence, billing, and patient registration.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous relevant healthcare experience preferred.
- NRCMA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, or CMAA certification preferred.
- Second language proficiency a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- 1+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software preferred.
- Bilingual highly desirable .
