The candidate must be willing and able to participate in all aspects of care, including obstetrics, benign gynecologic surgery, and outpatient clinic.
Furthermore, as core faculty, the candidate must participate in the education and training of residents and medical students.
The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills - and a willingness to work with an underserved population.
Academic appointment
Faculty in this position may apply for an academic appointment with MSU CHM at a rank commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical coverage and resident supervision four to five days per week
- Provide or assist in the administrative duties of the residency program
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees
- Participate in the formal teaching of residents and medical students
- Participate in scholarly activities
