A local HVAC and plumbing company is seeking an Outbound Telemarketer to help ensure their customers' homes and businesses are comfortable and functioning optimally.
This is a full time opportunity and the hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The pay starts at $18-$21 / hour plus commissions. There are two openings.
This role is 100% on-site.
Outbound Telemarketer Responsibilities :
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote HVAC and plumbing services
- Explain service offerings and current promotions clearly and persuasively
- Schedule appointments for our technicians with interested customers
- Update customer information in our database system
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales strategies
- Maintain detailed records of all calls and interactions
- Stay updated on industry trends and our service offerings
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge Outbound Telemarketer Qualifications :
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection positively
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other telemarketing tools
- Good listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
- Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing services (training will be provided)
- Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Patience and persistence in following up with leads
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls
