Service Sales Representative II
Gaithersburg, MD OR Auburn, CA
Your Tasks :
Responsible for managing service sales for a designated book(s) of work in an assigned geographical area(s). Manages existing service business by following company renewal process, engaging directly with customers and internal teams to ensure efficient consistent service coverage of all eligible instruments.
Working together with internal sales and operation teams developing new service sales opportunities to grow service and improve customer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage an internal renewal process to ensure timely, uninterrupted service coverage for all existing customers.
- Identify upcoming service expirations and opportunities to upsell to ensure 100% coverage by offering best solutions available.
- Engage with customers directly, represents the company in all outside service sales functions : including but not limited to pricing, negotiations, creating quotes and service agreements.
- Serve as an initial point of contact and the company representative for all internal and external service sales inquiries and developments.
- Participate closely with internal sales teams to assist in all new service sales opportunities by educating customers and ensure a future service coverage.
- Take an active involvement in establishing and maintaining positive, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers' key players to ensure successful long-term relationships
- Use internal company tools (CRM, etc.), manage, track and report on all service sales activities and assisting sales teams in selling service.
- Perform analysis of sales activities by creating reports to develop most efficient processes and practices related to selling service.
- Assist with identifying and participating in wide company service projects to support the overall business strategies and achieve company goals.
- Continually learn and record changes in service selling offerings to educate and assist internal teams and customers.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
High School Diploma required, college degree preferred; Minimum of 4 years proven sales, account management, or similarly related experience;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in operating a computer with the Windows operating system, including Outlook email, CRM database (such as SAP, Salesforce), internet applications, and basic MS Office products.
- Understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and solution selling process.
- Experience in service-based sales position for capital equipment especially within a bio related industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Field Service Management (FSM) and CRM systems preferred.

For Candidates based in Auburn, CA, the anticipated total cash has been established at $109,200-$147,700 / year. The total cash of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training.
The above total cash represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
