Description
GENERAL OVERVIEW :
Monitors, maintains and repairs the electrical distribution system including the lighting system, backup generators and related equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs preventive maintenance of all building electrical equipment, making repairs as necessary. (65%)
- Responds to service and emergency calls regarding any facility electrical issue and / or device. (20%)
- Performs electrical work related to construction. (10%)
- Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH, Joint Commission, ICRA and National Electric Code requirements. (5%)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum
Minimum
- Must have prior experience as a registered electrician working with commercial or institutional electrical systems.
- Valid local municipality electrical license as required by regulations
Preferred
Prior Healthcare Experience.
