This position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances.
Each Church facility that is built and / or maintained should 1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship, and 2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community.
This position exists to provide assistance to the Stoddard Student Apartments Housing manager by providing administrative help with student concerns and needs.
This is an individual contributor position.
- Maintains established hours, whereby the residents know their availability.
- Helps in monitoring the physical condition and safety of their assigned building and surrounding grounds.
- Promotes a wholesome and cheerful atmosphere.
- Assists in organizing activities that support the Seminaries and Institutes of Religion objectives.
- Facility responsibilities :
- Conducts a daily walk through on assigned buildings and grounds.
- Performs regular monthly apartment inspections and minor maintenance.
- Assists with tenant concerns and monitoring the building.
- Must be a student of one of the schools of higher education in the area.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to maintain a fixed schedule.
- Must live on site in an apartment for Head Residents and pay the monthly rental rate.
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors / equipment.
