This is a maintenance position, offering further growth and opportunities to take on industrial and maintenance experience in the manufacturing space
You will...
Provide timely support to production operations by responding immediately to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various meat processing machinery and tools.
Systematically diagnose and fix issues with facility equipment and tools.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while maintaining ethical standards.
Carry out minor electrical tasks that don’t require a licensed electrician, such as changing light bulbs, fuses, or breakers.
Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.
Foster a positive work environment by working collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and management.
Qualifications :
Mechanical, or certified welder with valid certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME).
Experience servicing larger equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, bending, etc.).
Nice to have : Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
