Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The pharmacy services both Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare. The pharmacy staff oversee cutting edge automation in medication distribution systems.
Our pharmacists provide clinical services including participation in patient rounds, nutritional therapy services, screening patients daily for change in renal functions and adjusting the dosage accordingly.
The pharmacists work in a team-structured environment with other healthcare professionals 24 hours a day. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Under direct supervision of staff pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician has primary responsibility of preparing drugs in unit-dose for IV / OR, inpatient and ancillary area.
According to standard procedures, Pharmacy Students assist the staff pharmacist in physician order processing, dispensing medications, transporting medication supplies and maintaining appropriate records.
Responsibilities Provides accurately prepared orders of pharmaceutical supplies by properly assembling orders and requisitions with the correct products.
Provides accurately prepared sterile preparations by properly following procedures. Maintains quality assurance standards and maintenance of required documentation.
Delivers IV solutions and medications to nursing divisions and ancillary departments. Maintains a clean, orderly and sufficiently stocked work area.
