The Role

Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking an Oiler to join our Corru-Kraft team in our Fullerton location

What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role

Oils and greases moving parts of friction surfaces of mechanical equipment such as shaft and motor bearings, sprockets, drivechains, gears, and pulleys by performing the following duties.

• Fills container such as oilcan, grease gun, or tank of lubrication truck with specified lubricant.
• Squirts or pours oil on moving parts and friction surfaces, or into holes, oil cups, or reservoirs. Turns oil cup valves toregulate flow of oil to moving parts.
• Forces grease into bearings with grease gun, smears grease on friction surfaces, or packs grease cups by hand.
• Fills wells and sumps of lubricating systems with oil.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to Supervisor. Cleans machines, sweeps floors, and transport stock.
• Inspects bearings and seals for wear during the course of normal duties.
• Assists Maintenance Mechanics with repairs.
• Performs other duties and / or responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience :

Less than high school education; one (1) year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of educationand experience.
