Accounting Clerk

Onset Financial of Draper, UT , recognized multiple times as Utah's Best of State, is seeking a top-performing Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic and high-energy team.

Your Responsibilities will be :

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry and payment processing
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports
• Reconcile credit card statements
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and documentation
• Handle vendor and customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits
• Manage general function in incoming and outgoing wires, preparing them for release and approval
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform other clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed :

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience, with some focus on Accounting / Finance preferred
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Payroll experience preferred
• Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work within limited time constraints and demonstrated ability to problem-solve
• PC literate in a Windows environment with strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
