We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant located in Henderson, North Carolina.
This role is situated in the construction industry and involves a combination of customer service, data management, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities :
- Handling incoming calls and emails, ensuring effective office correspondence.
- Coordinating and documenting office procedures to optimize productivity.
- Assisting with the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendars to ensure smooth office operations.
- Maintaining an organized office by managing inventory of office supplies.
- Facilitating interactions with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Performing administrative duties including filing and retrieval of project documents, records, and reports.
- Utilizing Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software for various tasks.
- Ensuring data entry tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting in coordinating office operations and procedures.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
- Ability to manage email correspondence and schedule appointments effectively
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education or certifications are a plus.
