The Family Court of St. Louis County is hiring for a Domestic Violence (DV) Court Respondent Case Manager in the Domestic Relations Department.
$20.00 hourly
This position is eligible for the 10% addition to pay effective January 12, 2020.
This is a non-merit position. Recruitment for this position will be handled by the Family Court of St. Louis County. Position is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Examples of Duties
An employee in this job class and position performs work of marked difficulty in providing case management services to respondents in support of the work of the Domestic Violence (DV) Court. The focus of the work is aimed at assisting the Court in reducing repeated instances of domestic violence. Work is performed under the general supervision of the DV Court Compliance Coordinator and requires significant independent judgment. Work involves serving as a resource for respondents appearing on DV Court Order of Protection dockets and / or by phone, monitoring services for Order of Protection respondents ordered to participate in community and court-based programs, and reporting in Court on respondents' compliance, or lack thereof. Direct work with respondents is required. Work is evaluated by periodic supervisory conferences, review of reports submitted, and achievement of stated goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors' degree in Social Work or a related social / behavioral science required, plus at least one (1) year of professional social work experience working with victims or perpetrators of domestic violence, social work, or related behavior science field is required, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Additional Information
All applicants conditionally offered a permanent part-time, full-time, term or on-call position will be required to submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be paid by the County. Applicants will also be required to submit to an extensive background and criminal record check.
