Lyons Magnus is seeking a Production Line Lead for our Walton, KY facility. This is a Day Shift position
- This is an hourly position making between $ - $ dependent on experience
- Estimated Annual Salary (includes OT) between $70,000 - 85,000 / year
- This position will work a 5 day / 12 hour shift weekly schedule.
- Schedules are either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday from 6 : 00a - 6 : 00p.
- Sixty (60) hours per week is the expected work week.
This Position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that the down line areas are running in a safe, efficient, and quality manner.
This person will be required to train all down line operators in the safe, efficient, and quality operation needed. This person is also responsible for relieving the down line operators and filler operators daily during regular breaks, due to absenteeism, or in the event of special production runs.
This person also assists the operators in troubleshooting issues, keeping the work areas clean, organized, maintaining a high level of productivity, and running production in a safe, quality manner.
This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Strong written documentation skills are also necessary.
Requirements
- Monitoring the line processes for optimum performance.
- Training of the line operators.
- Relieving the line and filler operators during breaks or due to absenteeism.
- Safe and efficient operation of the production equipment, Fillers, Downstream packaging, material handling.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work area.
- Compliance with all GMP and Safe Food Handling Policies.
- Assist production personnel with the resolution of issues to insure productivity.
- A High Level of Mechanical Inclination is a must.
- Other duties at the discretion of management.
- Reporting any safety or maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor or by filling out work order request.
- Assisting the operators with cleaning of the equipment and insuring that the equipment is detailed thoroughly.
- Keeps the production floor supervisor informed of any issues that would hinder productivity or limit production, including but not limited to, personnel issues, equipment / maintenance, scheduling, etc.
Write production reports on any issues concerning production lines and submitting production report to the production manager.
