Global Supplier Quality Engineer Drive Supplier Excellence!
Are you an experienced quality professional with a passion for improving supplier processes and driving cost savings? We are looking for a Global Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and take ownership of key supplier relationships, ensuring they meet world-class standards for quality, efficiency, and innovation.
What You'll Do :
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering on new product introductions.
- Develop and manage supplier performance metrics, driving corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Conduct supplier visits to evaluate processes, implement improvements, and resolve quality issues.
- Own quality management across the product lifecycle, solving problems through root cause analysis and supplier corrective action reports.
- Lead audits of supplier Quality Management Systems and qualify alternate suppliers to mitigate risks.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives using LEAN manufacturing principles.
What We’re Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in quality or technical roles in manufacturing, with supervisory experience.
- Strong experience with ISO 9001, IATF16949, or similar quality management systems.
- Proficiency with problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma).
- LEAN manufacturing experience and excellent project management skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
