WHAT DO YOU DO?
As a Surgery Technology Specialist at OR Pros, your role goes beyond the basics. Picture yourself setting up, handling instruments, and ensuring the smooth flow of surgical procedures.
You're the backstage crew, making sure everything runs efficiently so that the main act can shine.
Additionally, your responsibilities include holding retractors, maintaining organ stability, and setting up robotic surgical equipment.
You'll also handle specimens with precision, contributing to the diagnostic process. Every day is a chance to be a crucial part of the surgical team, making a real impact.
To do this, you need :
- 2+ years of operating room experience
- Qualification as a Surgical Technologist in New Jersey under NJ 26 : 2H-12.63
- Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or equivalent preferred
- Professionalism and punctuality
Preferred : 5 plus years of OR experience, ambulatory surgery center exposure, and strong knowledge of surgical procedures.
