Salary :
AIMS, LLC is a multi-specialty group practice providing inpatient psychiatric, medical hospitalist and psychology services to the NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals (NPH) throughout Indiana.
NPH provides acute, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for adult patients with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses and comorbid medical conditions.
In partnership, NPH and AIMS provide exceptional, quality care through an interdisciplinary team aimed at healing the mind and body of individuals facing challenging circumstances on their life journey.

Duties :
In conjunction with collaborating physician(s) and within scope of practice :
- Evaluate and manage assigned patients daily through face-to-face encounters for initial and follow-up visits
- Identify, document and initiate treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for conditions and symptoms
- Exercise judgment on conditions and behaviors that require psychological testing, interventions, consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician(s)
- Order, interpret, prescribe, correlate and document patient behaviors and progress in relation to pharmacologic and testing interventions
- Participate in daily rounding, as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Complete discharge process including orders, summaries, and all paperwork necessary for discharge to next level of care
- Complete and submit billing for all above activities in compliance with coding guidelines and payer directives

- HIPAA knowledge
License :
- Active Indiana APRN License (or active APRN in a different state, and ability to obtain IN License)
- DEA and CSR Certification (or ability to obtain certifications)
Machines / Equipment / Resources used :
- Computer, Phone, Copy / Fax Machine Skills
- ICAN Notes Experience (Preferred)
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to use a computer and communicate well
- Has contact with potentially violent patients
