Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary :
As a Senior Network Engineer, your primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting while working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement network solutions.
You will provide consulting services, including assessment, design and implementation of secure networks and assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure networks by developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation.
Travel Requirements :
In this role you will be expected to travel up to %. It will be based in Orlando, FL.
Job Responsibilities :
- Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data / security networks
- Working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions
- LAN routing and switching configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment
- Provide network engineering consulting services, including : assessment, design and implementation of secure networking environments
- Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks
- Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance
Required Skills :
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following :
- Network Access Control, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and ClearPass, implementation design, configuration, and deployment in a lab environment
- Firewalls / VPNs (Cisco is a must, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc. are a plus)
- Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must)
Additional Desired Skills :
Experience with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) preferred
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE or equivalent experience and / or military experience
- years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
- CCNP- REQUIRED
- CCIE Security / R&S - PREFERRED
