ABOUT OUR CLIENT
National General Contractor actively seeking a Superintendent to lead their Retail projects through to completion. The Lead Superintendent will have the opportunity to work on site for projects throughout the United States.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lead Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing Ground Up New Construction, Additions, Buildouts and or Renovations of Big Box Retail, Tilt Wall Retail Warehouses, Grocery, Strip Centers, and other retail projects ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, field staff throughout projects.
Additional experience and skills will be considered such as Tilt Wall, PEMB, Restaurant, High End Retail, Fuel Centers, Convenience Stores and a demonstrated track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
Select Responsibilities :
- Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects
- Develop and manage project schedules.
- Manage subcontractor performance relationships.
- Be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.
- Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management.
- Implement and execute Quality Control / Quality Assurance program.
- Promote an Injury-free job site through safety initiatives and award winning Company safety program.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of Lead Superintendent experience working on Retail projects.
- Exceptional knowledge of construction processes and procedures; ability to successfully manage complex projects through to completion
- Must be willing to travel on site to locations across the United States.
