We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Production Supervisor . Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join a stable and reputable manufacturing company of engineered mechanical components.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for overall direction, coordination of department(s) consisting multiple employees.
- Inspects products for conformance.
- Directs setup and adjustments of machines and process equipment.
- Sets / adjusts production schedules.
- Applies and enforces company policies and safety regulations
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems.
- Troubleshoot complicated equipment
- Inspection and Maintenance familiarity with methods and procedures
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Associates Degree and minimum 5 years Supervisory experience. Mechanical abilities required. Metal Casting and or extrusion experience a plus.
Other skills helpful : MRP / Inventory Control; Lean Manufacturing 5-S; and Quality Control. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES :
Competitive benefits package. Salary : $65,000 - $75,000. Comprehensive health insurance plan, 401k retirement plan, Sick / personal days, Vacation, paid holidays, Life insurance, STD, LTD, AD&D insurance coverage.
