Position : Patent Prosecution Associate / Of Counsel

Location : New York Office-Midtown
Our client is looking for a talented Patent Prosecution Associate / Of Counsel with significant experience in biotechnology to join its Intellectual Property Group in their New York office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal and writing abilities.

Tasks :
Prepare and prosecute patent applications Perform patent landscape analysis
Conduct freedom-to-operate, noninfringement, and invalidity analysis
Conduct IP due diligence
Mentor junior patent agents
Background :
Strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills Track record of academic and professional excellence
Ability to manage matters independently
Comfortable with client interactions, opposing counsel, and courts
Qualifications : Requirements :
Requirements :
- At least 5+ years of biotechnology experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, or chemistry
- Admission to the Patent Bar
