Summary
The Promotions Coordinator handles all casino promotions and promotion related special events created by the Marketing Department at Soboba Casino Resort
Duties / Responsibilities
- Implement and execute all on-site and off-site casino promotions, such as drawings and giveaways
- Knowledgeable of all casino promotions, special events and entertainment offerings
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interface with guests and team members
- Consistently provide an elevated guest experience by addressing inquires, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Work with Marketing Management to coordinate creative promotions and accurate advertising
- Prepare notifications and submissions for STGC Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with policies & procedures, game rules & regulations and internal controls
- Able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Work a flexible schedule, under limited supervision. Schedule will vary based on monthly promotion schedule
- Have stage presence; speak clearly and confidently, display positive body language and facial expressions
- Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Resort standards
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Education / Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- A minimum of two (2) years marketing, casino promotions, or guest service experience, required
- Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn and operate industry software and programs
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America
Certificates, licenses and registrations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and / or alcohol testing.
