A company is looking for a Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Develop expertise on paid family and medical leave laws and analyze their impact on company products
Participate in industry advocacy efforts and monitor legislative changes affecting market states
Conduct legal research and provide guidance on compliance topics, including insurance advertising and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
5 years of experience with Paid Family and Medical Leave or similar technical experience
Proficient in legal research tools like Westlaw or Lexis
JD from an accredited law school
Experience in government affairs or regulatory matters related to statutory disability or PFML insurance preferred
