Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs / week, EOW, Holiday rotation with core staffLength : 13 Weeks

Requirements :

IL license

1 year of experience- surgical experience required

Must have total joint experience

Must have Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management

Experience with TPN / Lipids. Narcotic usage

BLS, NIHSS

Other Details : Float to like units only. If floated to higher acuity it would be to work as a help all and not take a patient load.

Charting System : Allscripts - SunriseAccepts LOCALNurse : Patient Ratios 1 : 4-6 Nights 1 : 5-6Common diagnosis / Types of patients Neuro- laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, belly surgery-ostomies, hernia repair, joint replacement-total hips / knees.

PICC, TPN, Lipids. Fem pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA. DM (dialysis is also located on the 3rd floor) PCA, some epidurals, iv abx, chronic pain (narcotics), sepsis, urgent OR cases.

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
