Lantana Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Golf Professional to join our prestigious golf facility. As the Head Golf Professional, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience for our members and guests while maintaining the high standards of our esteemed club.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage day-to-day golf operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for members and guests.
- Supervise the pro shop staff, providing leadership and guidance to maintain a positive and customer-focused atmosphere.
- Develop and implement instructional programs for golfers of all skill levels.
- Conduct individual and group lessons to enhance the skills and enjoyment of the game for members and guests.
- Stay current with industry trends and instructional methodologies to continuously improve the quality of golf instruction.
- Plan, organize, and execute golf tournaments, events, and leagues to enhance the social and competitive aspects of the club.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless coordination of golf-related activities within the overall club calendar.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service to enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests.
- Address member and guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage inventory, pricing, and sales in the pro shop, ensuring a well-stocked and attractive retail environment.
- Collaborate with the course superintendent to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards, providing valuable input on course setup and conditions.
- Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance personal and professional skills.
Qualifications :
- PGA membership or equivalent certification is required.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a golf club or resort setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of golf operations, instruction, and tournament management.
- Proficient in golf-related technology and software.
