The Job :

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of our Industrial team working as an on-site employee. You'll develop and support manufacturing processes, research customer specifications, and collaborate with shopfloor personnel to troubleshoot daily manufacturing issues, as well as support the Operations and Sales team. You'll get to :

  • Develop manufacturing processes for new products and make updates to existing processes.
  • Research customer specifications, and new processes.
  • Trouble shoot shop existing shop floor processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Design tooling for new and improving existing processes.
  • Design shop floor department and cell layouts if needed.
  • Interact with customers, operators, sales reps and vendors.
  • Evaluates data and product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal.
  • Create presentations for projects.
  • Perform Root cause analysis on MRB data using Excel.
  • Use Lean principle to develop more efficient processes and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software; SolidWorks is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 quality standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, fixturing and gaging methods. Know how to perform process capability.
  • Experience in machining or metal forming operations.
  • Experience in fastener technology involving nut, bolts and screws highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel including the use of tables, graphs and filters to collect and analyze data.
  • Good technical report writing skills.
