Seeking a professional and personable Medical Front Office Specialist to manage front desk operations in a high-volume behavioral health facility. The ideal candidate will facilitate patient check-ins, handle insurance verifications, and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment. This role is essential in supporting the daily functions of the clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow and adherence to confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front desk role within a medical or hospital setting
- Strong front office etiquette and professional presentation
- Pleasant demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic office computer applications; experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Strong data entry skills (minimum 45 WPM)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
