The mission of the Administrative Assistant is to create a professional and unified experience for employees, customers, our business partners, and the public.
This position will be assist all office staff and receive office visitors while also serving as limited (primarily tech) support for all field members.
Minimum Requirements :
- At least eighteen (18) years old
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's license to run errands, mileage reimbursed
- At least one (1) year experience in an administrative / office support role
- Familiarity w / Apple Phone products (iPhone) and experience w / troubleshooting iPhones
- Experience w / Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred :
Some college, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree w / a focus in communications, marketing, business, or related subjects
Employer Notes / Schedule :
- Drug test and background check prior to first day of employment
- Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
- Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent phone etiquette (greetings, information processing, problem solving, etc.), strong verbal / written skills, attention to detail, self-motivation and creativity
Job Duties :
- Marketing duties as assigned
- Open and close the office
- Meet and greet clients and guests
- Answer phones - take and forward calls
- Maintain project awareness : job name, address, project manager and superintendent
- Prepare and disperse press releases
- Assist President / VP / Director of Development in writing general content needed for various communications
- Assist President in sending out note cards for jobs starting and finishing
- Update Christmas card mailing list and distribution
- Update and disperse company newsletter
- Shipping / Receiving (mail, FedEx, etc.)
- Support field staff w / cell phone support and apps as needed
- Provide host / agenda prep / note-taking support for company meetings and luncheons
- Maintain company disaster plan and communication
- Quality of Life - Employee birthdays / anniversaries, order office supplies, stock office breakroom, etc.
- General office duties as assigned
Wage and Benefits :
- $15 to $20, DOE
- Profit sharing, eligible after 1 year
