Job Description

The position will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the building. The janitorial worker will focus on ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of various areas within the facility, following a rough schedule and covering 1-2 floors of a 6-floor building, position will require you to wear PPE's including a full bunny suite and Respirator mask as you will be working around chemicals in a biopharma environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the exterior of the building to ensure cleanliness.
• Remove trash from both interior and exterior areas.
• Clean doors, windows, and glass surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Keep restrooms clean by wiping down surfaces and ensuring toilets are flushed.
• Ensure restrooms and break rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Perform stain removal tasks.
• Maintain and upkeep break rooms.
• Document actions into the computer system.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles.
• Ability to read and speak English; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift or move 20 lbs.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service.
• High levels of energy and endurance.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial setting.
• Understanding of the rhythm and timing required for janitorial tasks.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Capability to function cooperatively as part of a team.
