Operations Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview

The Operations Business Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between business users and IT Application Analysts and Operations Analytics.

This position has a deep understanding of SAP systems and their application in business processes and is responsible for analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing solutions to improve business operations.

Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance system performance.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, providing training to end-users, and ensuring that systems are aligned with business goals.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You should be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following :

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate needs of the business into applicable system design solutions.
• Lead efforts to analyze, troubleshoot, and improve our growing business with SAP enhancements and new implementations;

including process and system design, testing, validation, user training, and post go-live support.

• Provide production support to end users by troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes, and recommending course of action.
• Partner with IT to identify solutions , perform functional testing, working with end-users to complete and document user acceptance testing, write system / user documentation, and train end users on functionality.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain training materials.
• Support the day-to-day business with open issues as first level support for end users.

• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
• Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and / or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
• Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
• Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight / weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or High School Diploma / General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience as business analyst supporting processes in systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP.
• Experience as an analyst in an operations, supply chain, and / or manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing existing business processes and systems during mergers and acquisitions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a biotech / life sciences manufacturing environment; preferably in a cGMP, ISO 13485, and / or CLIA environment.
• Experience at a company with Computer Systems Validation processes in place or equivalent best practices and of change control as it relates to application systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps as a business user or in technical support role.

Salary Range :

$85,000.00 - $135,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.

In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
