POSITION OVERVIEW
The HR Generalist will support management-level staff and perform a variety of tasks on the Human Resources team. The primary functions of the HR Generalistare the oversight of the personnel operations of all employees in the Headquarter owned gyms and Kids Camp entities, onboarding, and offboarding of team members.
The HR Generalist will work under the leadership of the HR Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- People Process Onboarding (from offer letter) to offboarding
- People Operations Oversight
- Compliance / Auditing
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding
- Creating offer letters and overseeing the background screening process
- Oversight and execution of full onboarding process (Preboarding, Day 1-3, Day 30)
- Reviews company policies, gathers personnel information, explains benefit programs, and obtains signatures for all necessary documentation.
- Capturing and reporting data for understanding of gaps for improvement
Offboarding
- Oversight of full offboarding process
- Capturing and reporting data for understanding gaps for improvement
People Operations Oversight
- Collect and manage data pertaining to personnel for proper record keeping and filing
- Prepares records for personnel management to support monthly and quarterly audits.
- Participate in personnel audits such as compensation, position, benefits, etc.
- Assists in the maintenance of HR records for personnel by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking PTO.
- Data analytics and report preparation for all Headquarter owned and Kids Camp entities
- Employee Relations Oversight of addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and maintainingdocumentation of findings.
- Compliance completion of verification of employment, worker compensation claims, leave of absence, unemployment, etc.
- Lead two biweekly people-leader meetings with respective entity leaders to review people shifts (approximately 30 min meetings)
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Administrative role.
- Onboarding and offboarding experience
- Demonstrated experience with benefit functions and claim administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Flexibility and abilityto work in a team environment
- Spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills
- Ability to manage calendars and coordinate meetings
- Experience with facilitating presentations virtually
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Bachelor’s degree and / or work equivalent
- Microsoft suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
