Roles Mission :

An experienced video producer with a passion to advance the message of Jesus and the Gospel in collaboration with creative designers, ministry partners, stakeholders, and leaders.

A leader who can develop impactful video content in alignment with Christ Chapel's vision and mission to share the Gospel and advance kingdom work.

Preference is given to a Christ Chapel Bible Church attender.

• Demonstrate proficiency in techniques, applications, and tools utilized to scale, plan, and produce video assets of various sizes, scopes, and complexity.
• Oversee all stages of video creation from conception to execution.
• Develop the playbook for video projects (resources, vendors, timelines, tasks, inputs / outputs, et al).
• Lead and develop a team of video producers and editors to grow and thrive.
• Engage with partners and team members, serving as a subject matter expert and collaborator on projects requiring video content.
• Serve as an integral member of the Communications Department to ensure reliable delivery of quality products within the established schedule.
• Manage multiple priority projects simultaneously.
• Regularly research technology and industry trends to promote best practices.

Reporting Relationship : This position reports to the Director of Communications.

Competency-

• Prior experience with all matters of video production and editing, a minimum of seven years preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of pre-production, organization, lighting, sound, grip, directing, cameras, editing, motion graphics, compositing and delivery via various media and formats.
• Leadership and management skills that grow and develop people and meet or exceed expectations.
• Must be able to convey Christ Chapel's voice as well as the voices of other ministries.
• Ability to foster continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to engage and add value on highly creative ideas.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and software.
• A continuous willingness to learn and develop new creative skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Strong working knowledge of video editing software; preferably the Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Understanding of current media trends and desire to keep up to date with technology.
