POSITION SUMMARY
Leads, coordinates and manages projects and programs that focus on improving population health and health equity for residents of Bexar County.
Serves as a leader to identify, develop and implement projects that improve access to care and promote comprehensive population health objectives that support health equity, and access to care.
Identifies extramural funding opportunities and oversees the operations of grant funded programs to ensure compliance with funding agencies
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Masters’ degree in public health, healthcare administration, or business is required. Doctorate degree is preferred. Minimum of four years experience in a management role in a public service, public health or healthcare setting.
Must be proficient in planning, implementation, administration, and communication of complex projects with multiple levels of stakeholders.
Demonstrated policy and planning formulation and implementation skills. Advanced conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to use, interpret, and explain statistical data and produce high quality reports.
