Role Summary

As a key member of the RF Systems Engineering team, you will report into VP R&D / Chief Engineer .Seniority will be determined by experience.

The RF Systems Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the RF System Design and Analysis of the Anuvu connectivity systems including the space segment, WIFI constraints and 4G / 5G wireless capabilities.

What You'll be Doing

• Maintains a high level of technical expertise working closely with our technology partners and regulatory agencies to perform detailed reviews of link budgets, coverage capabilities and to determine target satellite capabilities.
• Looks for opportunities to improve the space link efficiency and service levels to support an increasing demand for service rates and reduced costs.
• As a functional member of the R&D team, the RF Systems Engineer liaises between Product Development, Operations, Suppliers and Engineering, and provides high level definition of requirements for new product development to maintain the leading Anuvu Connectivity products and services.
• Architects RF system designs for the Anuvu systems
• Knowledgeable to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and programs are amended to reflect adherence to technical requirements
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies;

preparing cost estimates.

• Confirms and verifies product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks across different programs and projects

What We're Looking For

• BS in Electrical engineering or related science.
• 8 + Years of industry exposure : Satellite, RF System Design, IFEC or related industry.
• Systems engineering experience in an IFE or IFEC company.
• Knowledgeable background in aircraft electronics, avionics systems, power distribution and cabin electronics.
• Experience in RF systems engineering methods for design, integration and testing.
• Experience in lab and field testing procedure preparation, component selection, and test execution using a methodical, detail oriented approach.
• Experience with various lab and field test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
• Experience of Federal Communication Commission (FCC) governing certification of communication systems.
• Experience in space segment, FAA STC / SB, installation and LRU Qualification.
• Handle Stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
• Accepts responsibility for achieving goals and expectations.
• Work as part of a dynamic team

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 - $170,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications etc.
