Currently looking for a Landscape Construction Estimator. Salary $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
The Landscape Construction Estimator is responsible for the preparation of bid packages for landscaping jobs with our estimating software, Aspire.
This position will build material and cost lists based on successful reading of blueprints, source required materials and present the completed bid package for submission.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in Landscaping Industry
- Ability to read and interpret construction documentation including : plan sets, detail drawings, specifications, grading / elevations, measuring and takeoffs
- Working knowledge of construction practices used in landscape design / build / maintenance
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to prepare estimates accordingly
- Solicit and manage quotes and bids from suppliers and subcontractors
- Build material list to include cost
- Identify and submit RFI’s and alternates as needed
- Prepares and processes change orders
- Prepare new estimates as well as revisions on existing projects, with in Aspire
- Coordinate bid board along with bid schedules
- Scan and file documents in electronic filing system
- Update and maintain current system as required
- Attend scope review and pre-construction meetings as needed
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
