Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure optimal productivity and professional growth.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of various engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design plans and blueprints, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering department.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering projects, making necessary adjustments to ensure their success.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the company's operations where applicable.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. A Master's degree or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role.
  • Proven experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team of engineers.
  • Excellent technical acumen, with a deep understanding of engineering principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
