The Comp Bartender is responsible for providing food and beverage service to all our guests.

JOB DUTIES

• Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed.
• Handle difficult situations effectively.
• Take beverage orders from guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Brand Standard recipes.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks.
• Clear and reset tables in the Evening Reception area.
• Make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to F&B Manager.
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
• Attend work on time as scheduled.
• Follow hotel grooming and dress standards.
• Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
• Support the environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills, and values to be a leader in the global goal of greening the hospitality industry.
• Nametag must be worn at all times.
• Punch clock in and, ready to work no earlier than five minutes prior to the shift.
• Report to F&B Manager before ending work shift.
• Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be able to work flexible evening shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
• Must work well with or without direct supervision.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Must be neat and well groomed at all times.
• Needs to be flexible, self-motivated, and positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to maintain proper certificates or Training to serve Alcohol.
