Job Overview : As a Human Resources Specialist at Augmentjobs, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our human resources functions.

You will be responsible for recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and various HR projects. Your goal will be to ensure that our HR practices align with company objectives and support our mission to create a positive and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment and Staffing :

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Utilize various recruitment channels to attract and identify qualified candidates.

Employee Relations :

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.

Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and performance issues.

Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

Compliance and Policy Administration :

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.

Training and Development :

Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.

Assess training needs and identify opportunities for skill development.

Support career development initiatives and performance management processes.

HR Projects and Reporting :

Assist with HR projects such as benefits administration, compensation analysis, and employee surveys.

Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance with organizational and legal standards.

Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.

Knowledge : Familiarity with HR software and tools, labor laws, and best practices in human resources management.

Skills :

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Certifications : PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) is a plus.
