Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting essential accounting functions, including reconciliations and analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities :

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify outstanding balances and trends.
• Review audit findings and assist in implementing necessary corrections.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to validate financial records.
• Monitor and analyze financial trends to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities to meet deadlines.
• Address discrepancies and work to resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
