DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will provide guidance and support to team members, assess and enhance job performance, facilitate training sessions, and uphold organizational policies and procedures.
Furthermore, you will contribute to operational efficiency by structuring tasks for different staff members, while also overseeing their productivity and resource management.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards, performing maintenance on tunnels and associated facilities, and managing incident responses in collaboration with PennDOT and emergency services.
Effective communication is crucial for maintaining situational awareness. The role also entails completing various administrative documentation, overseeing employee leave, and managing payroll processes.
Additionally, it involves reporting accidents, conducting investigations, participating in recruitment efforts, and coordinating training programs with appropriate personnel.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Tunnels Organization is a 24 / 7 operation. Work hours may be subject to change based on weather and / or operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
- One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1; or
- Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or maintenance of heavy equipment used in highway construction projects; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement :
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
