Salary : $95,000- $108,000 / year
Job Summary :
The System Administrator will be responsible for identifying any problems in ADS systems, anticipate potential issues and repair systems and software when necessary.
This position will help support the essential functions of each department in the company through maintenance, implementation, and support of computer hardware and software systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Set up and support company network infrastructure
- Help set and enforce company computer standards as directed
- Maintain all computer systems updates
- Administer and maintain all systems accounts
- Administer and maintain all multi-factor authentication services and environments
- Administer and maintain all cyber training to company users
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software updates on company systems
- Maintain validity and accessibility of all backups of all company servers
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software or other network and systems problems
- Assist in the set up and support of company user laptops, desktops, cellphones, peripherals, hardware, and software
- Assist IT Team with any related projects
- Responsible for cross-training IT staff in proper system administration procedures
- Research new technologies and hardware and make suggestions
- Responsible for assisting in emergency IT situations
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Responsible for onsite duties as assigned
- Must be punctual and adhere to attendance standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education / Experience :
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 5-10 years of IT System Administration or related experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required; Will consider equivalent work experience and certifications in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

- Ability to take ownership and provide leadership to complete projects
- Advanced understanding, configuration, troubleshooting and administration Microsoft products and services
- Advanced administration with-in the Microsoft 365 eco system
- Advanced understanding, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of virtual environments
- Advanced understanding, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of 2FA, SSO, AV and EDR
- Advanced understanding configurations, troubleshooting and administration of DNS, DHCP and group policy
- Advanced understanding, configuration, troubleshooting of computer and server systems
- Advanced understanding, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of directory management systems and backup systems and cloud services
- Advanced understanding, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of all windows platforms and printers
- Advanced overall troubleshooting skills
- Advanced understanding and configuration of network infrastructure
- Solid understanding of network firewalls, IP phones and VPNs
- Solid understanding of cyber security concepts and implementations
- Ability to excel at new technologies and concepts
- Ability to train fellow IT professionals on new systems and concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Reasoning, Logical and Math Skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Reliable and ethical; discretion in regard to confidential information
Licenses / Certifications :
- Must have or be able to obtain CompTia and Microsoft Certifications
- Other technical certifications are a plus
- Must be able to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card from the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Illinois employees only)
- Maintain a driver’s license, maintain an insurable driving record, and be capable of driving on company assignments

Work Environment :
An office environment, with minimal travel. Could be infrequently called to work in customer locations as needed. Customer locations can range from commercial and industrial facilities such as warehouses, retail stores, businesses, etc.
