Job Title / Position : Radiology (Mammography) Technologist

Brief Description of Job Responsibilities :
- Is responsible for all general, orthopedic, and mammography filming
- All image processing procedures and QC testing
- Utilize electronic medical record and PACS system during x-ray procedures
- Responsible for patient care
- Communication with Co-workers, Supervisors, Manager, Service Line Director and other departments

Education / Experience / Certifications :
- Graduation from a course approved by the ARRT. Current RT certification with the ARRT
- Current Wisconsin State license
- CPR certification
- Computer and keyboard skills
- General x-ray imaging experience is preferred
- Mammography experience is a plus
Non-Essential Duties : Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Typical Working Conditions :
Medical office and Radiology exam rooms. Exposure to radiation and communicable diseases. Needs to be highly mobile in a fast paced environment.
Highly teamwork related position.
Typical Physical Demands :
Variety of standing, sitting, stooping, walking. Must be able to help patient transfer. Occasional stress from multiple demands.
- Vision must be correctable to 20 / 30 and hearing must be in the normal range.
- Required to lift / carry children and help assist other patients up out of chairs (up to 40 lbs)
- Seldom Frequently needs to wheelchair patients or push cart with files around (10 75 lbs)
