Engineering Tech Responsibilities :
- Possess skills and experience to help solve technical problems.
- Supports manufacturing equipment with moderate guidance and direction.
- Strong working knowledge of specific equipment to be supported.
- Frequently addresses problems and recommends possible alternatives.
- Recommends course of action based on knowledge, experience and company goals.
- Successfully completes small projects with low to moderate complexity with minimal guidance.
- Performs with PMs, equipment service, and installation.
- Diagnoses root cause of malfunction and perform maintenance on electronic or operational equipment.
- Maintains system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment.
- Troubleshoots, adjusts, reassembles or replaces defective or improperly functioning circuitry, electronic components or other equipment.
What You Bring :
- Course work in Engineering / Scientific field or equivalent hands-on industry experience
- 1-4years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Mechanical service / repair experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLCs (programmable logical controller) preferred.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining automated production lines is highly desirable.
- Technical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ex. pharma, medical device, life sciences)
