Responsible for performing preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery to enhance up-time and efficiency, while executing projects to improve safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Anticipate $28-34 per hour
- Anticipate 45-55 hours per week (OT)
- Typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 3 : 00pm-1 : 00am
- Position is UNION once employees complete 90-day probationary period
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily tasks and long-term projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Repair hydraulic metal stamping presses using mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical skills.
- Identify and fix root causes of equipment defects.
- Document all work, labor, and parts in the CMMS system.
- Troubleshoot issues using PLC program software.
- Assist in adhering to PM schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Install or relocate machinery by disassembly and rebuild.
- Follow Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred
- Experience in maintenance, millwright, electrical, or instrumentation / controls in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- CMMS system experience.
- Team player and individual contributor.
- Currently enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance or related field.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-year vocational or trade school certificate in Mechanical or Electrical program
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
