Job Description

Position Information : Part-Time position that could become a Full-Time position starting out at $18.00 per hour.

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team at Ashland Hills Hotel. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy weight
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow instructions
• Regular and reliable attendance

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a food service environment
• Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities :

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Sweep or scrub floors

Skills :

As a Dishwasher, you will utilize your skills in basic reading, sanitization, lifting and carrying heavy weight, standing for extended periods of time, and following instructions on a daily basis.

Additionally, previous experience in a food service environment and knowledge of proper sanitization techniques would be beneficial in this role.

You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment will be crucial in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
