Job Summary
The Office Coordinator III position requires someone with good interpersonal skills, computer knowledge, and the ability to work independently;
utilizing organizational and priority setting skills. They will be responsible for ordering general office supplies for all locations within the Psychological Services Department.
Phone skills, excellent customer service and respect for privacy are a must as this person will answer the Psychological Services main phone line and direct callers to the appropriate entity.
This person will be responsible for registering and scheduling new and existing clients for appointments and coordinating all appointments with the clinicians.
They will receive and process referrals for therapy services and notify the clinicians of such referrals. Clerical duties are necessary for the functioning of all of the Psychological Services offices on all campuses.
They are responsible for obtaining the client’s insurance information, insurance verification, and completing pre-authorizations for outpatient services as required by various third-party payers.
They are responsible for collecting co-pays, posting payments, completing the daily cash drawer count, and daily reconciliation of all payment transactions.
Other duties may be assigned by the Clinic Manager to support efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
