Job Description
Timber Creek Recycling is seeking a skilled Mechanic to contribute to our continued growth. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.

In this position, you will be performing maintenance on the following equipment : Grinders, screening plants, excavators, loaders, trucks, trailers, walking floor, belt floor, dry vans, and end dumps.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections on all equipment for damage, leaks, repairs, and wear.
- Disassemble machines and equipment to access and remove defective parts using hand or power tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions.
- Perform cutting, grinding, and welding (both stick and MIG).
- Read technical manuals and schematics to perform maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing trucks, tractors, and machinery.
- Must own personal tools
- Ability to read wiring and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Dependability with a history of good attendance.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Education
High school or equivalent (required)
