Job Posting : Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Leader to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally sound workplace for all Associates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws, ISO 14001 standards, and HEXPOL’s Management System.
- Lead EHS initiatives, conduct inspections, and provide training, including new hire orientation and monthly safety topics.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies and investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Organize safety committee meetings and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in EHS or related field preferred.
- Minimum five years of EHS experience in an industrial setting and two years working with EPA regulations.
- Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Type : Full-time; in-person location; travel may be required (up to 25%).
Experience : 1 year in EHS preferred.
