Job Description
What you will be doing :
- Handle real property transactions with mid-level curative experience.
- Review abstract title examinations for liens, encumbrances, judgments, vesting, deed preparation, legal descriptions, and other title-related issues.
- Understand payoffs, real property taxes, voluntary and involuntary lien extinguishment requirements, and take action to clear any conditions using underwriting guidelines for all 50 states.
- Work directly with lenders, creditors, and third parties to extinguish title matters in order to issue title insurance.
- Conduct heavy research as required.
- Manage a pipeline of orders and clear title within given Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate via integration system tasking or emails.
- Collaborate with other title agencies or counties.
Experience you will need :
- Minimum 2 years of title curative (real property) equivalent experience required.
- Minimum education requirement - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Skills in customer service.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
- Strong detail orientation.
- Knowledge of company and / or client operating systems.
