Advantage is a program that enables book publishers, authors, musicians, filmmakers, studios, and other media content creators to list their products on Amazon and reach millions of customers around the world.
Advantage provides vendors with a simple and efficient way to have a direct sourcing relationship with Amazon : they ship products in to Amazon Fulfillment Centers and then Amazon handles the storage, packing, and shipping of orders to end customers.
We are looking for a talented Program Manager to oversee the new vendor enrollment workstreams for Advantage, to help grow the program which is currently live in 8 marketplaces worldwide.
In this role, you will also support the launches which affect overall management and strategic direction of the Advantage program, with a focus on ingesting customer pain points and creating programmatic solutions to solve these problems at scale.
This role sits within the Publisher Experience org, and will have a heavy priority on understanding Advantage customers and making the program better for them.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the program runs smoothly and delivers exceptional results for our customers and partners.
Key job responsibilities
Program Management :
- Help develop and execute on the program roadmap and critical initiatives
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Track program performance metrics and communicate out through various reporting mechanisms
- Identify and resolve program challenges and risks
Vendor Success :
- Serve as the main point of contact for high-priority customer inquiries and issues
- Proactively identify customer needs and develop solutions to address them
- Advocate for the vendor perspective within the organization
- Coordinate cross-Marketplace efforts to deliver an exceptional vendor experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
