Job Description : We are seeking a talented Investment Banking Analyst with a passion for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors to join our team.
As an Investment Banking Analyst specializing in ESG Integration, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on integrating ESG principles into their strategic decision-making processes and financial transactions.
You will collaborate closely with senior bankers, research analysts, and clients to develop innovative ESG solutions that drive sustainable growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive ESG research and analysis to identify material ESG risks and opportunities for clients across various industries.
- Assist in the development of ESG integration strategies for mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other corporate transactions.
- Support the execution of ESG due diligence, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting, to assess the ESG performance of target companies.
- Work closely with investment banking teams to incorporate ESG considerations into financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring processes.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and pitch materials that articulate the financial implications of ESG factors to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in ESG investing and provide thought leadership within the organization.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, environmental science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or ESG research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and ESG data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD) and sustainable investing principles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
